Core Set: Player, NPC and Utility

The Core Set is available in 3 parts. Player, NPC and Utility so you can choose how many you want.

Each Core Set: Player comes with 100 different Cards for Players. Each LARP club should consider purchasing these so the Storyteller can use them to modify the NPC Cards. The Club could purchase all the Cards or ask Players to each purchase a copy and then trade amongst themselves to get any multiple copies they would like.

Each Core Set: NPC comes with 100 different Cards for the Crew. Ideally the LARP club should purchase 1 copy for each Crew member.

Each Core Set: Utility comes with 6 different Cards. This includes the Character Card and Ghost Card which every Character needs, a Blank Monster Card, Mana Potion, Proto Shard and Style Point.

Core Set_ Utility.jpg

Blank Monster Card: Have some ideas for new monsters? Use this Card.
Character Card: Every Player is going to need one of these for each Character they create.

Ghost: Being dead slowing you down? Every Player is issued a Ghost Card when they start. It tells Players what they can do while Dead and gives them an opportunity to continue to participate while waiting to be raised.

Protoshard: Normally you near 2 Player Shards each time you Crew for an entire game but if the Storyteller wants to handout unclaimed Player Shards during a game, this is that Card.

Style Point: This is a reward system for roleplaying and a social currency. Crew give out Style Points when Players do something cool and Players can spend them to influence NPC reactions.

Mana Potion (not shown): Mana is a very important resource and it is tightly controlled. You can't get it from others and genearlly you have to Burn Shards to get more. The one exception is Mana Potions which are single-use Magic Items the Storyteller can add to the game if the Players are lacking in resources.
